While Bristol may have lost numerous things in the Blitz, it remains a very beautiful city. The university alone is worth the trip from London.

The fantastic Wills Memorial Building is the most prominent part of the university. It was designed by Sir George Oatley in the early years of the 20th century.

The Cathedral, like St. Mary Redcliffe, has many curious - possibly unique - features. The Victorian west front is particularly subtle.
